Cumbria Institute of the Arts | | | About me | Davinia Vincent has been singing and performing since she was a young girl where she performed in choirs and pantomimes in her local area. Her career as a professional singer took off once she graduated from the Cumbria Institute of The Arts, with a B.A Hons degree in Performing Arts.
She immediately gained contracts performing in U.K holiday parks where she exercised her skills as a vocal entertainer, allowing her to entertain crowds of hundreds with her soulful vocals and infectious stage energy. She has since completed contracts abroad working as lead vocalist in productions shows and covers bands across the world including, Egypt, Mallorca and most recently in a 5*hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Davinia has a young, funky style and attitude coupled nicely with mature and passionate contralto vocals that breeze through styles from jazz and soul to pop and rock. She considers herself a student of motown and soul as this the era that has influenced her style the most. Her repertoire covers songs beyond her 23 years, stretching from 1950's to current chart material.
