About me
Wanda Harris-Tiller, a Richmond Virginia native, is, without question, a phenomenal dynamic vocalist who has the ability to bring elegance and grace to any musical occasion. Wanda performed several years with the late great jazz saxophonist Grover Washington Jr. She founded a three person female group, "Foxii" who was subsequently discovered by Stuart "Stu" Gardner the Musical Director for "The Cosby Show" starring Bill Cosby. Mr. Gardner was so impressed with the talented singers that he recommended Foxii to tour with Grover Washington Jr. on the "Inside Moves" tour which featured "Pieces of a Dream" as the opening act, the great Phillip Woo and Grady Tate!In addition to those noted above, Wanda has various accomplishments within her repertoire. She was featured on the "House of Love" album written and produced by Stu Gardner. The album was dedicated to Bill Cosby for "The Cosby Show" on NBC. Wanda has performed musical voiceovers for the hit TV shows "The Cosby Show" and "A Different World". She has toured twice abroad to Italy, Switzerland and Finland with Sacred Sounds a rendition of "Sister Act" and performed a lead role in the play "Do What You Gotta Do" written and directed by playwright Minister Garrett Davis. Locally, Wanda has performed at Richmond, Virginia's Landmark Theatre for a benefit concert sponsored by Stu Gardner where Bill Cosby was the MC. This show featured jazz greats such as Dave Valentin, Grammy Award winning flutist, Jon Faddis. Wanda has also performed with several local bands throughout the Richmond area. These bands include: BS&M Band who has performed at numerous venues including the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Hammersmith Farm and The Kennedy Family Center in Newport , RI. She currently performs as the lead vocalist and "Diva" with Katz band. Katz is featured several nights a week in various lounges and city-wide events within the Richmond area. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rqzt4ETHbSU
